Sprouted Buckwheat Crackers


These crisp, savory and herbaceous crackers are raw, gluten free and sturdy enough to hold plentiful layers of spreads and toppings. They are an excellent replacement for traditional crackers, or flat breads. We love piling them high with toppings and eating them like a pizza. Some favorite combinations include; sun dried tomato sauce covered with a layer of our Macadamia Ricotta and piled high with diced tomatoes, olives, mushrooms, and zucchini noodles. Another favorite is a layer of fresh guacamole, topped with sliced tomatoes, pan fried shiitake (or other) mushrooms, thin sliced red onions, a drizzle of some cashew cream and finished with some sprouts (see gallery image for a depiction of this one). Finally, The Sprouted Buckwheat Crackers are a perfect match for Chaya’s Sprouted Sunflower Hummus, either by itself or topped with a traditional “Israeli Salad” of diced tomatoes and cucumbers.
