This crowd pleasing porridge combines omega 3 rich chia seeds with organic coconut and house sprouted organic almonds (from Kashiwase Farms, a bay area local organic almond orchard). Enhanced with a bit of vanilla, Ceylon cinnamon and a pinch of sea salt, our coconut chia porridge is nourishing to the body, soothing to the spirit and satisfying to the palate.

Chef Chaya’s Coconut Chia Porridge is rich, creamy and nutrient dense with just the right amount of sweetness (and no added sweeteners!!!). It is a healthy, hearty, whole family, crowd pleasing, guilt-free indulgence. Serve it for breakfast cold or gently warmed on the stove (with a sprinkle of cinnamon for a warming treat) with fresh fruit, chopped nuts, cacao nibs or your favorite granola. Eat it plain for a mid afternoon snack, or have a bit for a satisfying and healthful after dinner sweet (you could even drizzle a bit of maple syrup or honey over it to make it even more dessert like).
