Juice Feast Day 6 “Living your Brilliance”

posted in: Cleansing | 1

Almost a week can you believe it. WooHoo! I want to know how you are all feeling??? I am feeling pretty blessed good!!! One thing I have noticed is that I still feel hungry. But to make a confession, my juices were pretty spread out today and it’s nearly midnight as I write this. What I’ve decided, is to make some Sleepytime tea and take the last of my Zeolites (they came yay! I am so, so very excited. If you don’t know about these yet, jump on board because they are causing a level of detoxification that nothing else on earth has proven to do as of yet!). I’m back, that wasn’t long now, was it?

You will be proud I woke up a bit earlier, felt very centered in my thanks giving and had the time for a meticulous bathroom session. Enema, (I’m getting a lot better at that, breathing and abdominal massage to help the fluid through is really helpful for retention) skin Brushing (which is oh so invigorating as I’ve said before) and I even went for the hot cold shower now that was energizing! Juice prep this morning was quite mellow we took our time, perhaps a little too much because I was getting way too hungry before my first juice which wasn’t until 11am. Yes, yes I know first juice should be at 8, I’m still working on the 5:30am wake up,(It’s now 11:39pm). That may be why the hunger lingered throughout the day. In any case I had tons of energy for most of the day.

Wanna here about the juices today??? Well, you either do or you don’t but here we go:

4 Quarts: Romaine, Parsley, Celery, Apple, and Kale

2 Quarts: Carrot, Apple, Cilantro, Parsley, Baby Bok Choy, Spinach and Ginger

2 Quarts: Lemon, Apple, Orange, Grapefruit and Garlic (I’m hooked on the garlic in this one)

Supplements today:

2 tsp. Bee Pollen

1 Tbs. Hemp Oil (Imagine oil that could fuel our bodies and our cars?)

1 Tbs. Spirulina

1 tsp. E-3 Live

1.5 tsp Vitamin ‘C’ powder

If you’ve been following my posts you may notice that my juices have all the same ingredients just shuffled around into different concoctions. Two helpful points on this; One, I get all my produce in bulk from a local company that delivers to all the local health food stores. This way I have to buy large quantities which is the reason for all the repetition in the veggies and fruits I use, however the discount in compared to store bought food is incredible, unbelievable and oh so worth it. As the temperature rises I am buying ½ quantities twice a week, and I offer a delivery service to individuals in my town. It’s an excellent way to buy your veggies and really, really affordable. Second, yes it’s all the same ingredients but with the green juices most of them are new due to creative combining. I have come up with some favorite recipes, so I will be using those more often. The ones today were really yummy, and every time I order, I will order the staples but there will be certain items I will switch around to bring some variety!

Dad told me a secret today that Sophie (our Green Star) told him. I thought it was cute enough to share. Dad asked Sophie what she does the other 22 hours that we are not utilizing her mastication skills. Sophie replied that she and her kind as well as the feline species are known to sleep 20 hours out of the day. However that is not what they are doing. In actuality, they spend those hours meditating for world peace. Right on! That’s what I’m talking about. Sophie helps to bring more peace into my life and now I know and you should to juicers and all of their kinds are here to bring about world peace, yeah!

We have a lot of fun preparing our juices together. If you are doing this with a housemate, partner, etc. juice making together can become a really sweet and fun quality time together. We get into some pretty deep conversations, as well as a lot of laughter which is quite normal for us.

I want to mention and give big love to my Mommy, my Sister, my Step-Father, my Nephew and my who are all becoming more and more aware of what they put into their bodies My Step-Father bought my Mother a Raw Food prep book. WOW! Trust me that’s a wowie! They are purchasing the necessary equipment and are ready to make some shifts. My sister is getting herself and her son off of all dairy products, YES! They are all committed to becoming informed and living happy, healthy lives! Also my Father (as you know by now) is here with me doing the 92 day Juice Feast and my Brother is planning on beginning in a couple of weeks! Superheroes of today, all of them, geniuses and brilliant lights! They inspire me and fill me with such joy!

Universal Love

Tomorrow is the produce pick-up day, delivery day, and I get the pleasure of preparing a raw Thai Food anniversary dinner for a sweet couple in the area, and then it’s on to preparing all of my juices for Shabbat. Not a small task but manageable. Today I did all of the shopping and found the cravings I had experienced during my previous shopping excursion seemed to all be gone. I was walking through the store delighting in the idea of preparing this very special meal and hopefully inspiring some folks to become further informed in the art of living radiance.

My thought of the day will be one and short but I feel inspired to speak on this subject:

“You can’t get sick enough to heal anyone”. I heard Wayne Dyer say that and it really hit home for me. I am a compassionate person, and I’ve noticed that there have been times, actually many times that I have held back my light because I thought it may bring someone else to feel more dull. But here’s the thing holding back my light doesn’t make them any brighter either. All it does is add to the dimness. However when I break through my own fear and shine my light brighter and brighter and brighter, guess what I find? Everyone around me get’s brighter too. If they don’t now seem to be getting any brighter and perhaps even seem more contracted, I know as long as I continue to become a physical manifestation of my essence – if they remain a part of my life it will affect them. Beyond that it will affect the whole. No more holding back, you can’t get sick enough, poor enough, sad enough, anything enough to save anyone or anything. The most and greatest thing we can do for all is to be our brilliance and shine brighter than we knew possible

Shine, Shine, Shine! Your light inspires my light to shine even brighter and the cycle continues. Peace and Blessing for the sweetest day/night/sleep or wake, Chaya

  1. Phil Bolsta

You are dead on about letting your own light shine being the most compassionate thing you can do for someone else. Marianne Williamson said it perfectly in “A Return to Love”:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
